Story
Hannah has been haunted by a disturbing vision of a chapel in the mountains. Something seems to be drawing her there—something connected to her past and to the voice in her head.
After another night marked by intoxication and numbness, she decides to follow this recurring dream. She leaves her life and her family behind to pursue this deeply rooted feeling. The only one who knows about it is her intellectually disabled brother. He understands her in a way no one else does.
Fragmented memories give Hannah the certainty that she is on the right path as she sets out toward the mountain peak. At a mountain lodge, she meets a young girl. Mathilda reminds Hannah of herself as a child, and she feels a special connection to Reality and dream begin to blur when Hannah encounters Mathilda in the mountains—only for the girl to vanish as quickly as she appeared. When Hannah finally reaches the place of her dark vision, Mathilda appears again. Hannah realizes that Mathilda, whether real or not, holds a meaning in her story. And so she must decide whether she is finally ready to take responsibility for herself and for her demons.
